Bulgaria has a wide array of products suitable for foreign investors and with some of the best terms in CEE.

Foreign investors can typically expect to be charged a similar rate for mortgages, over a maximum 25 year term with 60 -80% LTV readily available.

There are no true interest-only products for foreigners, but a repayment holiday of one to three years is possible. During this period, only interest is paid on the loan. This often means a higher rate later, however.

Mortgages for the self employed are available, but at typical higher rates and lower LTVs.

One big plus for investors is that re-financing is available with some lenders.

Processing time for an application will generally take 12 weeks. And you can expect to pay an arrangement fee as well.
